About Melissa
Melissa Joy Dela Cruz is an accomplished actress whose talent and dedication have earned her multiple recognitions in both the arts and community service. She was awarded Best Actress in 2015 for the short film “Pusong Bato” at the City Government of Makati National Filmmaking Contest, and was named Ms. Ambassadress 2013 – 2nd Runner-Up by the National Youth Coordinating Council on Drug Abuse Prevention and Education in Bacolod City. Beyond acting, Melissa has also made her mark in the field of photography, ranking as the 10th Photographer of the Year at the 2020 Photo World Cup under the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, Inc., and placing 10th in the same year with the Samahan ng mga Litratista sa Rizal (SLR Camera Club).
She has undergone extensive training through Maleficient Production and FAD Events Management for modeling workshops, as well as the Acting Workshop of Light of Life Talent Management Inc. Melissa is also an active member of several organizations, including Light of Life Talent Management Inc., Sining Pinagpala Theatre Foundation Inc., SLR Camera Club, the Philippine Society for Photography—where she serves as Club Secretary and Treasurer for 2025—Inner Wheel Club of Marikina, and YOPADA Marikina Chapter, where she previously served as Vice President Internal. With her artistic versatility, leadership, and passion for advocacy, Melissa Joy Dela Cruz continues to shine as a multifaceted and inspiring artist.
